PMCA 1234: Free Fourth Wednesday Wee-Read

Color Outside the Box

Color us happy! First, look at the colors and lines in Gustave Baumann in California. Then, use crayons to color in pictures made especially for the PMCA community by Miss Ali & Miss Dorie, inspired by their coloring book Color Pasadena! Think outside the box—and the lines—experiment with zigzags, squiggles, and thick and thin lines during a freestyle draw.

Wee Read: The Day The Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers and Color Pasadena by Ali Zigerelli and Dorie Bailey (with an appearance by the author and illustrator!)

Recommended for children ages 2-5. Caregivers must accompany children.
Museum open to Wee-Read participants only.

Presented as part of our PMCA 1234 monthly programming.

Support for children’s educational programming is provided by a generous grant from the John and Beverly Stauffer Foundation.
