Mileage is the most important thing for us Indians. Due to rising fuel prices, better mileage bikes are very much in demand. Well, there are a lot of bikes with mileage figures of more than 70 km/l.
The segment of commuters is more focused on mileage as the demand for this segment is highest in India. It usually includes 100-125cc bikes.

Bajaj Platina – 104 KMPL

Bajaj has launched a new Platina ComforTec with a claimed mileage of 104 KMPLLMPL. Platina comes in 1 variant at a price of Rs 47,115 (ex-showroom). The new bike is powered by a 102 cc DTSi engine that produces 8.1 BHP power at 7.500 RPM and a max torque of 8.6 Nm at 5,000 RPM. It has features such as alloy wheels and automatic ignition. It also has a long travel suspension for additional passenger comfort. Platina currently offers the highest mileage estimate among all the bicycles.

Hero Splendor iSmart – 102.5 KMPL

A technologically advanced version of India’s favorite bike, the Hero Splendor, the iSmart comes with start / stop technology that has helped to achieve a very impressive 102.50 KMPL fuel efficiency rating. The Hero Splendor iSmart is powered by a single-cylinder 97cc engine that produces 8.36 bhp at 7.500 rpm and 8.05 Nm at 4.500 rpm. Hero also tried to spruce up the looks a little bit with added style and a slightly unusual paint scheme that certainly adds to the appeal of the bike.

Bajaj CT100 – 98 KMPL

The 2015 Bajaj CT100 takes over the Splendor / CD-Dawn range from Hero MotoCorp. The CT100 is cheaper than the Platina, but it has almost the same features as the rear suspension of the SNS. However, the CT100 engine misses the DTSi technology and produces a slightly lower torque than the Platina. The CT100 has recently received a new budget version – the CT100B. This model comes with a round headlight instead of a bikini fairing and is less costly than INR 4,000! The bike comes in three models – B, ES, and Alloy.

Hero Splendor Pro – 90 KMPL

The second iteration of the famous Hero Splendor on this series, the Splendor Pro, returns a very respectable 90 KMPL mileage. Powered by a single-cylinder 97.2 cc engine, the Splendor Pro generates 8.2 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8 Nm at 5,000 rpm. Hero offers a black alloy variant and also adds a little sportiness, making it look like a traditional commuter bike. The styling looks very plain.

Bajaj Discover 100 – 85 KMPL

The Discover 100 is the smallest member of the Bajaj motorcycle discovery family and ranks as the fifth most fuel-efficient motorcycle in India to save 82.4 KMPL in fuel consumption. The motorcycle has a 94.38cc single-cylinder engine generating 7.6 bhp at 7.500 rpm and 7.85 Nm at 5000 rpm. In the 100cc commuter cycle class, Discover 100 is one of the best looks for bikes.

TVS Radeon – 80 KMPL

TVS released a stylish-looking commuter, Radeon, in 2018. Opposite Hero Splendor Plus, Bajaj Discover 100 and Honda Dream Yuga, it is one of the best-looking in its category. TVS Radeon provides a claimed mileage of 80 km/l. While reports suggest that many riders have successfully achieved more fuel savings than the estimated mileage. It gets a 110cc Duralife engine, which produces 8.4 BHP and 8.7 Nm of peak torque, with a 4-speed gearbox transmission.

TVS Sport – 95 KMPL

Compared with the standard bike, the TVS Star Sport is made of more sporty graphics and a rugged front cowl. A two-pod cluster and bucket brakes for the front and rear are standard features. TVS Sport is powered by a 100 CC engine which generates 7.40 BHP energy At 7500 RPM and 7.5 Nm torque at 5000 RPM. TVS Sport looks better than the new TVS Star City but lacks the correct power efficiency.

Hero Passion Pro

The Hero Love Pro is the redesign of the Hero Splendor. The bicycles have the same drivetrain and ride components, but Passion Pro comes with sleek bodywork, a range of quirky paintings and innovative technology. The instrument cluster incorporates a digital display to show the fuel gauge, the maintenance alert, the odometer, and the trip meter. The speedometer remains a legible analog device. The motorcycle is powered by a 97 CC air-cooled engine which generates 8.3 PS at 8000 RPM strength and 8.5 Nm at 5000 RPM torque. The cycle has a mileage rate of 84 km/l.

Honda Dream Neo

The Dream Neo is the most accessible motorcycle in the Honda Indian range. Being a Honda, the build performance of the Neo is marginally better than the competition it faces. The bike looks identical to the Honda Dream Yuga, but this machine has a few decals and paints jobs. Dream Neo has a 110 CC engine that produces 8.25 BHP energy at 7500 RPM and 8.63 Nm torque at 7000 RPM. The bike has a mileage figure of Rs 84 km/l.

Yamaha Saluto RX

The Yamaha Saluto is based on being an effective driver, and that’s just what it does. Being small is important, and the Saluto RX is one of the lightest motorcycles selling in India today, weighing just 98 kg. The Yamaha Saluto is powered by a 110cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which generates 7bhp and 8.5Nm of torque, using the a4-speed gearbox. Yamaha cites a mileage rate of 82 km / l.
