One of the most-visited cities in the entire world is none other than Las Vegas aka “Sin City.” By now you know the deal with the luxurious city — world-class Vegas gambling, partying, entertainment, fine dining, and so much more.
There’s seemingly an attraction to behold on every corner of the city’s famous Strip — which is both good and bad. The good is, well, there’s always something to do. And the bad, well, there’s sometimes too much to do, especially if you’re in town for one weekend only. This can leave you feeling like you’ve missed out on something.
If you find yourself in that predicament and can only visit a few spots, then this article is for you! We’ve rounded up the VERY best five attractions to experience whilst in Vegas. And the bonus one, for the open-minded. Time’s a-wasting so let’s dive right into it:
Water Show At The Bellagio

When you’re not getting your sports or casino betting on at the Bellagio, you MUST catch its famous fountain show outside the building.
An 85-acre lake surrounds the casino premises. Inside the lake, there are 1,214 jets that shoot water 460 feet into the air. These jets work in unison to perform a choreographed water show to the tune of 30 different songs.
There’s a show every single day usually in 15- or 30-minute intervals during the afternoon and into the night. But perhaps best of all — it’s completely free to the public. And in a city like Vegas, it’s hard to find free anywhere, but the Bellagio is a notable exception.
Skyjump At The Strat

Who said the only thrill to be had inside Las Vegas is gambling at a casino or sportsbook? Matter of fact, the most thrill-seeking experience in the city is actually an 829-foot leap from the sky.
That’s what you’ll find at the Strat (formerly known as the Stratosphere). The building itself is the tallest in the city, and one of the loftiest in the whole country.
But make no mistake about it, the SkyJump is the must-do thing at the Stat. For a fee of $130, visitors can plunge off the tower — whilst wearing a “jumpsuit” hooked on to wires, of course. When free-falling, a person can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour.
Circa Sportsbook
Circa is the newest attraction on our list, opening its door only in October 2024. New isn’t always better, but in this case, it most certainly is.
The newly-minted casino claims to have the largest sportsbook in the whole world. We don’t have the square-footage numbers to cross-check that, but it at least passes the eye test.
Inside the Circa sportsbook, you’ll find one head-turning feature after another — three stories high, a 78-million-pixel screen to watch sports, an outdoor pool party area with yet another massive viewing screen, plus more. For sports gambling in Vegas, you can’t go wrong with Circa.
Take A Stroll At The Venitian
Many Las Vegas casinos are themed around other world-famous attractions — Paris, old Rome, New York City — however, the Venitian takes the cake for the “cool” factor.
As the name hints, the casino draws inspiration from Venice, Italy, which is widely known for its canals and gondola rides. That latter of which can be replicated at the Venitian for just $30 a ride.
Singers and stilt walkers also occupy the Venitian space, giving it an Italian atmosphere for only a fraction of the price of actually going to the country.
Fremont Street
Las Vegas fun isn’t just concentrated in the Strip, you know that, right? No? Don’t worry, not a lot of people do.
Beyond the Strip is Fremont Street, which locals refer to as the city’s actual downtown area. Akin to the Strip, there’s a bevy of drinking and gaming options here.
However, the most eye-catching feature of Fremont is the giant canopy that lines the street. It’s hard to miss as the canopy stretches approximately 1,500 feet and beams with lights. While walking it, you’ll be met with street performers and vendors. Just don’t blink because you might miss something cool!
Indulge in the unknown
Can you feel the blinding Vegas lights whenever you want to? Well, obviously not. You have to visit the casinos to be able to experience the uniqueness of game playing.
But, what if we tell you that you can have a pinch of Vegas glitter anytime and anywhere? It’s possible thanks to the technology and the internet expansion that provides us with the most realistic experience that can be compared to Bellagio, Luxor, or the Strat.
You can easily open the door and enter any virtual casino you like, and more importantly – you can play every game you like, any time of the day and night, no matter where you are in the world.
Using virtual betting sites and having fun in online casinos could also be convenient in case you’re just about to visit one of the famous, traditional brick and mortar casinos and places from our list. What’s better than being able to enhance your skills and set yourself in the right mindset, before you even enter the building?
On platforms such as vegasbetting.com you can try your luck with a variety of interesting sportsbooks, online betting sites, and online casinos while being able to get enormous welcoming bonuses and promotions. Do you already feel like you’re a Vegas pro gambler?
Welp, that rounds out our list. Visit each of these five landmarks next time you’re in Vegas and you’re all but guaranteed a grand time! But don’t forget to dedicate some time for the sixth location as well, and feel free to start exploring the unexplored. Fantastic opportunities are just around the corner. You only need to grab them. Good luck and have fun!
